Terms of Use
Summary
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website dacnetwork.io and the information, apps and services presented on it. Last updated: 9 October 2026.
$DAC is described as a utility token. Nothing on this site is an offer of securities or financial instruments, financial advice, or a promise of profit, price, liquidity or exchange listing.
1. Acceptance and scope
By accessing or using dacnetwork.io you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Individual apps and services may have additional terms, release notes or in-app notices. Where they conflict with these Terms for that specific service, the more specific notice applies.
Mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to you by law are not affected by these Terms.
2. Who operates DACnetwork
DACnetwork is developed by Asociația DACnetwork Web3, a non-profit organisation being established under Romanian law (OG 26/2000), based in Bucharest, Romania. The registration is in progress and the association is not yet in the register.
Official registration details (registration number, registered address and legal representative) will be published on this page once the registration is completed and confirmed.
3. The ecosystem and its services
The site presents the DACnetwork ecosystem. Its current status is described honestly and may change:
- $DAC: a Solana Token-2022 token with a fixed supply of 3,000,000,000 and an automatic 0.5% transfer fee, described as a utility token for access to ecosystem services. It exists on Solana mainnet.
- DACx: a private messenger and identity layer (xID) with ephemeral messages and a self-custody wallet. Currently an Android beta; the wallet runs on Solana Devnet, not on $DAC mainnet.
- rutaX: a Proof of Activity mobile app, in development on Devnet. Reward rules are set as targets; mainnet rewards are a future milestone.
- DACmeta: a planned digital-society platform. Not a finished product.
- DAC Smart Systems: research and development of distributed edge and DePIN infrastructure.
DACx messages are not end-to-end encrypted yet. Unread messages are held on DACx servers until they are read and are then deleted after 3 minutes. Voice calls are not offered in the current interface.
4. Beta, experimental and planned features
Beta, Devnet and experimental features are provided “as is” for testing. They may contain errors, change, be interrupted or be withdrawn at any time. Devnet assets (including Devnet DAC and test SOL) have no value and are not $DAC mainnet.
Roadmap items (for example the rutaX public beta, DACmeta, marketplace, payments in $DAC, staking, DAO governance, any public presale or exchange listing) are plans, not commitments. Dates and scope may change, and some items may never be delivered.
5. The $DAC token and Solana
$DAC is designed as a utility token under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA), to give access to services within the DACnetwork ecosystem. According to the whitepaper it does not represent company shares, ownership rights, debt instruments, investment contracts or profit-sharing rights.
Describing $DAC as a utility token is a statement of purpose, not a legal determination. The regulatory classification of a crypto-asset depends on its features and on the decision of competent authorities. DACnetwork does not claim any approval, licence or certification from a regulator. The whitepaper itself states that it has not been examined or approved by any competent authority.
There is currently no active public sale of $DAC. The presale allocation shown in the tokenomics is an allocation only; price, cap, TGE date, DEX and vesting are not yet defined. This site does not invite you to buy $DAC.
Always check the network and the mint address before any transaction. The $DAC mainnet mint is 4m9XHiFaZcoUiMxaJH9DbxSXJXuQuXASw3q35hZPjghb. The Devnet mint is 8NeGLu1s8jQjvrtgpTKPMkGg71NKKpwaMthhUSkfLatR and is for testing only.
6. No advice and no guarantees
Information on this site, in the whitepaper and in our community channels is general information only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice and does not take your situation into account. Seek independent professional advice before making any decision.
We give no guarantee about the value or price of $DAC, which may rise, fall or become zero. We give no guarantee about profit, returns, liquidity, trading activity, burn outcomes, rewards, or the listing of $DAC on any exchange or DEX.
Statements about the future are intentions, not promises. You are responsible for checking that your use of crypto-assets is lawful where you live.
7. Blockchain risks and wallet security
Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible and public. Risks include market volatility, software bugs, network outages or congestion, cybersecurity incidents, phishing and fake tokens, regulatory change, limited liquidity and operational delays.
You alone are responsible for your wallet, private keys, 12-word recovery phrase and PIN. DACnetwork does not hold your recovery phrase and cannot recover it, reverse transactions or restore lost access. Never share your recovery phrase with anyone, including people who claim to represent DACnetwork.
Only use the official links on this site. Official channels are listed in the footer.
8. Use of the site and services
You agree to use the site and services lawfully and in good faith. You must not:
- attack, overload, probe or disrupt the site, apps, servers or networks;
- falsify location or activity data, or abuse rewards or anti-fraud systems;
- use the services for fraud, harassment, spam, illegal content or money laundering;
- impersonate DACnetwork or its team, or promote fake tokens or scams in our channels.
Where required by law, some features may require identity verification (KYC/AML). We may restrict access to protect users, the network or to comply with law.
9. Third-party services and external links
The site and apps rely on or link to third parties, such as the Solana network, Solscan, wallets, GitHub, X, Telegram, LinkedIn, Firebase Cloud Messaging, hosting providers and exchanges. We do not control them, do not endorse their content and are not responsible for their availability, security, terms or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and under their own terms.

11. Personal data and cookies
How personal data is collected, used and protected, including cookies and your rights, is described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is separate from these Terms and does not replace any consent mechanism.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site, information and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DACnetwork and the persons acting for it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of tokens or access caused by your own actions, wallet compromise, third-party services, blockchain events, market movements or regulatory change.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.
13. Changes, suspension and termination
We may change, suspend or discontinue the site or any feature, and may restrict access for users who breach these Terms or put others or the network at risk, with or without notice where the law allows.
We may update these Terms. The current version is shown on this page with the update date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms; if you disagree, stop using the site.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable European Union law. Disputes should first be raised by email so we can try to resolve them in good faith. Competent courts in Romania have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory right you have as a consumer to use the courts of your place of residence.
